Who I Am

Hi! I’m Atlee — a graphic designer with a deep appreciation for thoughtful, print-focused design that conveys a clear message. I believe that every project is a story that is worth telling. My job is to help shape that story into something that is striking and memorable.

To me, design is more than just looks, it’s about making visuals that leave a lasting impression and help ideas make their way into the world.

Design Philosophy

I have been writing for as long as I can remember. Stories and the words that create have always enticed me. There is something so magical in being able to turn an idea that you have in your head into something that other people can hold and touch. In a world that seems to be run by technology, print remains tangible. Something that draws people together. There is something so mesmerizing about the texture of paper, the depth that ink holds, and being able to see how the world interacts with the object. I am drawn to the craftsmanship of print.

My approach to designing is rooted in storytelling. Every choice I make as a designer helps to fuel my narrative and ensures that the piece is communicating effectively, while still being visually interesting. I want to create timeless pieces that blend traditional techniques with more modern looks.

I am inspired by the way a book invites a reader in, how a poster grabs your attention, and how a magazine can be so eye-catching. Print is more than just a medium, it’s an experience. My goal as a designer is to foster that experience with care and creativity and share the joys of print with the world.

My Specialities

  • Print Design

Print design focuses on crafting tangible objects. They range from business cards and brochures to booklets and invitations.

  • Packaging Design

Packaging design creates the experience of the product, helping it stand out on the shelves while reflecting the brand’s story.

  • Poster Design

Poster design is about creating bold, eye-catching visuals that memorably portray a clear message. It is where storytelling meets composition.

Beyond the Screen

When I’m not working, you’re most likely to find me exploring a new hobby. I like to collect as many as I possibly can, that way I can have the skill sets for any projects I might have in the near future. I love printmaking and bookbinding and try to incorporate them in as many personal projects as I possibly can. They remind me that great design is as much about the process as it is the final product.

I am inspired by the calm of open water, finding it to call to me no matter how far away from it I am. So long as the weather permits, I go to the lake as often as I can.
